As a company, our interest is in creating work that not only entertains but challenges. We believe theatre should be an act of conscious engagement, not passive observation. Thus, ours is a theatre of ideas, of brutality, of humour and of surprise. We hope that when you leave you leave little confronted, but definitely thinking.
RICHARD HILLIAR
Artistic Director
Richard Hilliar is the resident writer and co-artistic director of Tooth and Sinew, for whom he has directed APOCKA-WOCKA-LOCKALYPSE, U.B.U: A Cautionary Tale of Catastrophe, Osama the Hero, Year of the Family, Scenes from an Execution and Electra.
Other credits include Distorted (Fixed Foot Theatre), Mr Foot (Clock and Spiel), Asylum (Brave New Word), This is Not Mills and Boon (Glorious Thing Theatre), Orphans (Seeker Productions), King Lear and Measure for Measure (Sydney Shakespeare Festival) and Wittenberg(Brevity Theatre Company).
NICOLE WINEBERG
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/ PRODUCER
Nicole Wineberg is co-artistic director and producer of Tooth and Sinew. Trained at Theatre Nepean, Nicole is passionate about contributing to Sydney's collective and colourful theatre and performance scene as an actor, producer and theatre maker.
